A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, is a private network that encrypts and transmits data while it travels from one place to another on the internet. Using a VPN to connect to the internet allows you to surf websites privately and securely as well as gain access to restricted websites and overcome censorship blocks.

VPN uses an IP address that's not your own!

If you go through a VPN, then there's no restriction, however if you go through the regular ISP without the VPN, then the popular sites are blocked.

Take a look at this link.

VPN stands for the virtual private network. It is a service that encodes your Internet traffic and protects your online identity. Virtual Private Network redirects your connection to the internet through a remote server run by a VPN provider.

Below are some important uses of VPN:-

    • Security of your online identity
    • Security on public wi-fi
    • Anonymous torrenting
    • Access the web freely

    Hello,

A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network. Applications running across a VPN may therefore benefit from the functionality, security, and management of the private network. Encryption is a common, although not an inherent, part of a VPN connection.
